Photographic Practice
I am a photographic artist working between documentary and fine art, drawn to moments that ask to be witnessed rather than arranged.
My practice is rooted in attention — to people, place, material, and the quiet spaces where meaning gathers over time. I am interested in how images hold memory, how they carry presence, and how they can speak softly yet endure.
After more than three decades of working with photography, my practice is evolving more slowly and more honestly. Alongside the camera, I am returning to making with my hands — exploring analogue processes, mixed media, and experimental approaches that favour touch, intuition, and not knowing.
This work is not about perfection or performance. It is about connection. About staying with what feels true. About making space for images — and ideas — to emerge with care.
This site holds reflections, works in progress, and finished pieces from a practice shaped by time, curiosity, and a commitment to seeing deeply.
